This looks like a bug in the Qt library or in the Oxygen widget style. - Does the application crash again if you repeat the situation you described ? KMail crashed again under the given circumstances. Backtrace is attached. It's still the oxygen style.
The new crash seems different, but it is still related to Qt painting code. - Try switching to another widget style and using it for a while to check if it doesn't happen with it. Regards Created attachment 41162 [details]
