- Does Plasma always crash if you repeat the situation you mentioned ? Or, as bug 227010/bug 227643, which seem to be related to the CWP widget: - Does the random crashes stop if you remove the CWP widget from your Plasma Desktop ? - Did you recompiled it / reinstalled it after updating to KDE SC 4.4. ? Regards It doesn't happen always. After the crash I tried to switch the desktops intensively but without a problem. What also happened after the crash, that plasma started using 100% CPU. I did not try without the CWP widget. Please reopen this report if you experience the crash again and note if you were using the CWP widget in that moment. Thanks Merging with bug 227010.
