I have added the battery monitor plasmoid to the system tray and set it to always hidden. Whenever it is hidden plasma-desktop uses about 50%-60% of the CPU and X uses about 20%. But if I click 'show hidden icons' the CPU load immediately goes down to normal. If I then hide the systray icons again the CPU load goes back up. This only seems to happen when using the battery monitor plasmoid (though the only other one I've tried is device notifier).

How to reproduce:
1) Add the battery monitor plasmoid to the system tray and set it to hidden.
2) Open 'System Activity' for monitoring purposes.
3) Now continuously hide/show the hidden systray icons and watch the CPU load go up and down.
