Can you improve Lancelot in order to make it capable to optionally use beagle (and possily other desktop search systems) in addition to/instead of Nepomuk?

Possible, but not for me. I have no idea what is the API to beagle.

If you can find somebody to write a beagle runner that'd be cool. The whole of KDE would be able to use it then - nor only Lancelot.
