I agree, it would be extremely useful if the email addresses were indexed in the same way as the subject, real name etc. Best wishes, Just stumpled across this bug too: I knew I had received that email from someone with an address from domain foo.com but I didn't know his name. I typed in the domain in the quick search but nothing was found. I tried for every folder the email might possibly be in, nothing. I tried it with other spellings of the domain, nothing. Finally I made a search over all folders which showed me the email - and the domain was exactely written as I typed in before in the quick search in the first folder. A lot of time spent for what should have been done in a second. I agree with the reporter. This should at least be configurable. Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented. Thank you for your understanding.
