Version: (using KDE 4.4.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

if i work with ftp on a remote server, only browse in the directories,
dolphin complain (the server reports to dolphin) to much open connections. only 3 at time for each client are allowed.

in kde 3.5 the filemanager, the handling of ftp was better. is uses persistent connections, and did not open for each klick a new connection to the server.

this is realy a mess. working is not possible !

pleas fix it soon

dolphin does not handle ftp connections properly. if the service provider set a limit to 3 connections at time, working with dolphin is not possible. it opens to much connections if surfing in the directories or open a file.

possible should be : open at least 2 file an still browsing with dolphin.
