screen shot of buggy behavior
this should show what I'm talking about clearly
We wanna be really sure you remember to decide to save (or not) your data.. :) yeah, I noticed this too, but forgot to report it. Andrea: I hope this can be fixed for 0.4 :-) Need more information about. You just wait a bit and a second bar appeared? If so, it looks like a kdewebkit bug. I noticed a commit about a double signal emitted some days ago. Please update your kde installation and try again. I see this happen whenever I mess up my login to some website which brings me to another login page which I then successfully login to. As an example, go to gmail.com, fill in a bogus user and password (as I did in the screenshot) you'll get the bar asking to save login information, but gmail will take you to a page where you can attempt logging in again. If you try logging in again without closing the save login information bar, another one will show up right below it. I haven't seen that with any other browser. I think they have the behavior of 1) a timeout on the bar of x many seconds in case the user doesn't click anything and 2) if another new one is to be shown, the old one is immediately removed I hope this clarifies things.
