Description Albert Astals Cid 2010-02-15 09:50:43 UTC
Version: 1.13.0 (using 4.4.00 (KDE 4.4.0), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31-19-generic

When receiving mails some of the mails that should end up in a folder because they match a List-Id filter end up in the inbox folder.

Notes:
 * Pressing Ctrl+J in the mail once it's in the inbox folder makes it correctly go to the folder it belongs to.
 * Some of the mails that should go to the same filtered folder go, so some work and some do not, could not find a real difference between the ones that are correctly filtered and the ones that are not.

This worked until i upgraded to KDE 4.4

FWIW i ran kmail through valgrind and this effect got several orders of magnitude worse, it failed to correctly filter 120 mails from around 200.

Having the issue in kmail 4.11.4.None of the filters created using Messages->Create Filter are not working.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
