Description Anders Lund 2010-02-14 09:51:45 UTC
Version:           1.13.0 (using 4.4.00 (KDE 4.4.0), Chakra)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.32-ARCH

When editing HTML formatted messages with line wrapping enabled, the line is wrapped during editing, but no <br/> tag is inserted, so the wrapping is not applied effectively. It should be, or the feature should be disabled when typing formatted messages.

Personally, I would prefer a resonable max-width or width set for the body in HTML messages, so that I would not have to care.

Currently, the best solution is to

* turn of line wrapping
* manually insert linebreaks by hitting SHIFT + RETURN at a reasonable width (for example by looking at images in the message)

Not the easiest workflow...

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
