Description P B 2010-02-13 10:27:10 UTC
Version: 3.9 (using 4.4.00 (KDE 4.4.0), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.31-19-generic

Normal behaviour prior to updating to KDE 4.4.0 was to left-click on the knotes systray icon and have it pop up the list of notes to select for display.

Now left-click does nothing whatsoever.

Right-click still works to bring up context menu. From here you can display all notes at once (I have around thirty or more, so this is not so useful), or use the search tool to try and find the one you want, but this is very much slower that what worked before.

Also, hovering over the icon produces no tooltip to say what the icon is, but I think that's a very old issue.

Logged in again today, after a reboot (but there was a reboot between package installation and the bug last time) and it is working.

I did notice some peculiar behaviour when the plasma desktop was unlocked, I would get windows stolen from me (any window I went into would gain focus- which I wanted- and would pop to the top - which I didn't), perhaps that was it?

Sorry.

well with me knotes has always behaved as expected until I installed KDE 4.4.85 Beta 2. Now both mouse buttons are making knotes pop up the menu instead what's normal for the application.
