What I was doing when the application crashed:
kdevelop crash in to segmentation fault after reloading file

i have update my working copy from repository, and CMakeLists.txt was opened. after update program tell me that i need to reload file. when i press the button kdevelop crashes.

Can you please try with KDE 4.4 once you have those available? There have been various fixes to the smart-range-code in kate, so this might be fixed.

I've just had crash with the same crashlog. I use KDE 4.4.1. KDevelop crashed on CMakeLists.txt editing.
