Description Sergej Ferlich 2010-02-11 09:51:12 UTC
Version: 3.9.95 (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

It is a very common practice to let the user close a tab by clicking on it with the middle mouse.

Prominent examples are Eclipse and Firefox.

Would be nice if this works in KDevelop too.

Hope this is not another duplicate :/

I've done a search before and the KDE-bugtracker is looking for duplicates too, but I haven't found anything similar.
If there already is such a wish (requested or implemented) please be patient with me. ;)

Moving to kdelibs as thats where the tabbar implementation comes from (at least parts of it, in particular it uses MMB for tab-moving).

Since there is a similar request for many other KDE applications, I am marking them as duplicates of this bug. Move your vote and comment here.

Tabs do close when you middle click on them.
This may be a recent change, but it appears to be implemented.
