Since there are more and more provider which are jabber compatible, it would be very useful to allow a better differentiation. Many users will then have more then one Account which is compatible with Jabber (Google, Facebook). My suggestion has two parts: Allow the general possibility to set an individual icon per Jabber-account. Secondly: If possible provide icons for different providers (like facebook chat, gmx, google, ...) and detect them (should be possible through the Jabber-ID) and set them automatically. For Facebook there should be already the icons which where provided by the Kopete Facebook plugin (which now is not needed anymore).

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
