The game "Napoleon's Tomb" was once present in the KDE3 and earlier versions of KPat, but it has now been removed. Any reason for that (lack of developers, copyright?). As showed by the comments on KPat website (http://games.kde.org/game.php?game=kpat), it would be great for many if the game could be added back.
The source of the older version should be a good starting point...

Thanks!

The game is actually quite simple.
Here are the rules:

and here's the old game's manual page:

The comment for revision 773151 ( http://www.commit-digest.org/issues/2008-02-17/moreinfo/773151/ ) is "removing calculation and napoleon's tomb - both are too much games of luck with too complex rules"

Who gets to decide that?! Perhaps it doesn't require too much skill, but often that's exactly what one is looking for in a game. The rules aren't very complex, as evidenced by my aging mother who is more-or-less afraid of computers, but Napoleon's Tomb is her favorite thing about KDE. (Was, I should say.)

Can it at least be made available for download to add to KPatience (by recompiling if necessary, although a "get how new stuff" for game variants would be slick)?

2 people voted in 12 years to bring it back, I'm sorry - it's dead
