Additional info: By the 'yum update' kpackagekit kit was updated to kpackagekit-0.5.4-2.fc12.x86_64.rpm Found the same problem here: http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?p=1321010 The kded4 crash was reported at bug 219590 and fixed by the 0.5.4-2 packages. Version: (using KDE 4.3.4) OS: Linux Installed from: Fedora RPMs kded crashed with segmentation violation. Not sure if I can reproduce. I updated my Fedora 12 with 'yum update' (with refresh-packagekit plugin) After update was done, PackageKit was started and the crash occured after some time.
