Description Andrey Borzenkov 2010-02-04 18:36:25 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.4.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs

KDE 4.4 RC3.

Beloved http://forum.ixbt.com/

When I navigate this site, each page is mostly fully repainted at least two times, sometimes more, creating quite nasty optical flickering effect. Simple opening this page already repaints it three times at least.

I think this is related to page layout changes - i.e. this site usually has several (flash) banners, so when banner is finally loaded, contents must shifted around to free space.

For me this is regression against 4.3 - I do not remember this problem before. Also I checked with firefox, and it does not behave this way too - relayout happens "online" so to say.
