uhm, assigning a task titled "do <something> without kdm" to kdm is a bit ironic, wouldn't you think? ksmserver wasn't a bad place for it, because it is what is actually executing the shutdown request. the backend code would be presumably in the DisplayManager class in libkworkspace, but a direct invocation of solid may be also considered. KDM is dead. It also works with SDDM nowadays \o/ I didn't test without proper session startup but I doubt we support this usecase. |
