Example case : I had compiled a software. Sources folder is in my home. I switched  to root user for some reason before the compilation. Later I want to clean my home trying to move this folder in trash and dolphin show me a diag saying the access to .local/share/Trash/.... [name of this folder] is denied.

Dolphin should notify us with a more understandable warning regarding our authorizations on the currents files.
Or/and it should visually show us any icons like lock or keys added to folder/file icons.

My example shouldn't happen in a regular use but in a workgroup environment, visual feedback on files authorizations can be nice and comfortable (like KDE ;)

one detail about the svn version : there is a lock icon on this type of folder when preview is disable but if preview button is enable -> no more graphical feedback.

Other idea : when I'm not allowed to enter in a directory (-x flag for group or other) I thing dolphin (or konqueror) shouldn't show a empty tree but tell me with a clear message that I'm not allowed to browse this dir... I know it just a details but this is why I like KDE now ... for his little details that bring to me a better desktop experience. Thanks to KDE devs.
