Marco: this is an interesting use case since you're already in the notifications code; perhaps we should enforce a maximum icon size by downscaling them where appropriate? I changed that a while ago in KPackageKit 0.5.x but Kubuntu is version is very outdated. And I do agree with Aaron, but to be honest I think this whole notification system is kind of broken imho, I know some people like it but i see several problems with it, I really think we should try to make a vote where users could put their option on what is best. To me kio jobs are not notifications and this makes my life much more complicated, for example i have 3 dolphin windows, I start one copy on each dolphin, then I realized that I should leave soon and should stop dolphin's copy of window 2 but hey, when I click on window 2 it doesn't show me my job and don't even give me a clue on what job it is... The end you can image. I think a brainstorm could benefit this. Best, Daniel. In KPackageKit 0.6.1 it doesn't show the popup anymore so I'm closing this bug, Thanks. |
