1. start up Konqueror
2. Settings/Configure Konqueror
3. File Associations
4. choose "text" then html in the "text" subtree
5. click on the "Embedding" tab
6. in the "Left click action" frame choose "Show file in separate viewer"
7. make sure that in "Services Preference Order" only KHTML is listed
8. click OK
9. navigate to any html file in Konqueror and left click on it.

Now on my machine Konqueror starts to open new Konqueror windows and
keeps opening new windows (with empty documents) until KDE is exited.

Thank you for your bug report.
This bug can not be reproduced using the current development (CVS) version
of KDE. This suggests that the bug has already been fixed. The bug report will 
be
closed.
