Compiler:          gcc 4.3.2

Installed from:    Compiled sources

- Launch KOrg
- Create a new event for today
- drag and drop it to the day after tomorrow using the date navigator

The event is not moved eventhough there is a calendar icon next to the cursor when it is in the date navigator which would suggest that it is possible to do so.
(when drag and drop is not possible there is a forbidden sign displayed over the calendar icon next to the cursor.)

Plus, it would be very handy and quicker to move the events from one day to another using drag and drop.

korganizer(17873) KODayMatrix::dropEvent: AKONADI PORT: Disabled code in   virtual void KODayMatrix::dropEvent(QDropEvent*)

dnd is not ported.
So we need to do it.

I retested this today.

It worked once but most of the time I get a crash (see backtrace attached) and the event is not moved.

I retested this today.

And Kontact/KOrganizer still crashes when trying to drag and drop an event to another day.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korganizer (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
