Why does Phonon use both xine as well as pulseaudio? And why does knotify spawn hundreds of threads? Setting version. *** Bug 242788 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** PulseAudio is just a sound server, Xine outputs to PulseAudio. Xine apparently also created all these wonderful threads. Xine apparently also decided it was a good idea to segfault. :( is this UPSTREAM->xine then, or...? I would like to say so, but I'm not sure, and I've never seen Xine create so many threads before. Can this bug still be reproduced? If yes, please install the phonon debugging symbols and provide a better backtrace. Closing for lack of feedback. Feel free to reopen this report if you can reproduce and provide a valid backtrace. *** Bug 241756 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 241749 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
