Description Shlomi Fish 2010-01-22 10:39:56 UTC
Version:            (using Devel)
Compiler:          gcc-c++-4.4.2-5mnb2
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Compiled sources

In previous versions of Kopete it was possible to drag-and-drop MSN / WLM contacts to a chat or group chat in order to add them to the chat. Now I cannot drag-and-drop them this way as the cursor becomes inactive. It's been this for a long time in KDE 4 and is very annoying.

I'm using the KDE-4.3.90 packages on Mandriva Linux Cooker and have tried it with the native KDE desktop, with IceWM and with XFCE.

I "agree" but the actual problem seems to be Kopete doesn't support WLM group chats anymore. Inviting is no more possible via the Chat menu (using Kopete 1.0.0).

Actually, one can initiate a group chat using the "invite" button on one of the toolbars.

Ouch, I just can't believe I was blind enough yesterday to play with the Send Ink tool, but not to notice the Invite button just left to it.
Anyway, thank you.

This report should probably be expanded to the Invite menu missing from the Chat menu too, then.

MSN has been discontinued by Microsoft, thus I am closing this bug.
