Description Dmitry Khlystov 2010-01-20 17:08:11 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.4)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

I found some changes in behavior after upgrading to 4.3.4. Use case:
1) connect to remote server with dolphin/konqueror (ftp:// or sftp://)
2) open any file for editing in kwrite (or any other KDE application)
3) make some changes and press Ctrl+S to save

Previously changes were transferred to server immediately, but in 4.3.4 they applied to server only after closing editor and confirmation dialog. This is very annoying when making lots of changes: with old behavior I need to open file once and then just press Ctrl+S to apply changes to server; with new behavior if I want to test N variants of some configuration file then I need to reopen this file N times, close it N times and confirm saving N times.
Please bring back old behavior or create option to choose old variant.
