This is likely to be related to bug 207579 or the glibc bug (bug 196207) - Were you listening to a CD ? - Could you try to repeat the situation ? Regards Try upgrading your glibc version, available in the Karmic-updates repository. I also strongly suggest you upgrade KDE to version 4.3.4 (in the karmic-backports repository) and Amarok to 2.2.2 (in the kubuntu backports PPA). See also http://kubuntu.org for more information.
