(Sorry for my bad english)
I think is a good idea add the possibility to choose a hotkey for hightlight feature (f5 is too fair for me and i want change).
And other good idea is ability gesture middle button + mouse moviment for hightlight when okular is rewiew mode (F6 key).

Bug #137903 already.

Why would you need a "gesture", when (in review mode normal) tool activation + mouse movement does already what you want?

i want only use mouse. when i click with middle mouse button and select text it became highlight. (same normal left mouse select action but with permanent highlight)
I use it for study and now every line or word i must press 5 for ability one hightlight selection.
you understand what i want say?

p.s. but do you speak italian? (pino toscano is italian name)
