Description Alec Moskvin 2010-01-17 18:05:01 UTC
Version: 1.5 (using 4.3.90 (KDE 4.3.90 (KDE 4.4 RC1)), Gentoo)
Compiler: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.32.3

To reproduce:
1. Go to System Settings > Personal > Password & User Account
2. Select the option "Show three bullets for each letter" and click OK
3. Log out and log back in
4. Do something to trigger the KWalletManager password dialog
5. Enter password and press Enter

Result:
The OK button is stuck pressed, the dialog does not go away, and the password does not get filled in.

I can confirm this bug for kde 434 and qt 6.0 on gentoo.
this bug has been reported in arch linux too:

I can also confirm, also with Gentoo, KDe 4.3.4 and QT 4.6.0. It started after a huuuge system update, but KDE was already up to date I think.

I want to add this seems to happen with ALL authentification dialogs. I had no Wallet, no kdesu, no kmail. Took me quite a while to figure this out.

This should be fixed with commit r1083166.
