Description David 2010-01-17 08:42:55 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

During identity creation (especially the default identity), e-mail input validation should allow blank e-mail addresses.

The reason is that I tend to forget to select an appropriate identity to use when sending mail, but with a blank default address KMail will conveniently warn me and leave the message in the outbox until I choose a suitable one. Currently i achieve this by editing KMail configuration file manually to delete the default e-mail address. I would like it if KMail would allow me to enter a blank default e-mail for this reason.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
