This is a crash I get most frequently, because I mainly use my MacBook's touchpad instead of a mouse. Probably another bug in Qt.

I forgot to mention. It crashes immediately when I touch the touchpad, once the program is finished starting up.

Does this also happen for kword or kspread or even for qt examples? I don't see anything related to koffice in the backtrace. If so please report the bug against Qt and close this one.

The crash does not occur in Qt's examples, nor does it in other KDE apps I tried, but it does in other KOffice apps, yes. This is why I filed it here, until I can precisely say what the cause is (or where in Qt the problem is, if it is there). I couldn't find a "koffice" product ID when filing the report, changing that now.

Thank you for your bug report or feature suggestion.

The "KOffice" application suite is no longer maintained, and all tickets are now closed.

We recommend to switch to the "Calligra" application suite, which has replacements for all unmaintained KOffice applications:

- KWord was replaced with Calligra Words
- KPlato was replaced with Calligra Plan
