Description Jeffrey 2010-01-12 22:08:17 UTC
Version: 0.80.2 (using KDE 4.3.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

I have two Jabber accounts set up in Kopete; from these two I'd like to create a few new groups ("Break people", "Project X", "Project Y") that I can populate with members of the other groups but without removing them from those other groups. Currently if I create a new group it seems that I have to remove a user from another group (by drag-drop) or I can right-click on the new group and try to add them from my account but that doesn't seem to function (or I am doing it wrong).

Thanks for Kopete and KDE!

IMHO drag&drop with control or shift pressed should do it

Using [Control] did do it, thanks for that tip. I think this should be the default IMHO, and a user can then delete the other group's contact if needed.

However, thanks and this can be closed!
