Version:           1.12.2 (using 4.3.2 (KDE 4.3.2), Mandriva Linux release 2010.0 (Official) for i586)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.31.6-desktop-1mnb

Since the last 2 Mandriva system updates - which included kmail - e-mail retrival has slowed down seriously and this has impacted the rest of the system.  Thats all.

This is probably nothing we can fix here. I suspect that you are running a heavy spamfilter.
