Version:           1.4 (using 4.3.90 (KDE 4.3.90 (KDE 4.4 RC1)), Gentoo)
Compiler:          i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.32-zen1-IBM-T43-g762dccf

In kde 4.3 I could select all files of the same type in dolphin by clicking on the name of the of the type. In kde 4.4 this is not possible any longer.

Was there any reason to remove that nice feature?

I would like to have it back :)

Thanks for the report! Some refactoring of the list-view had been done for KDE SC 4.4 and I guess this feature just had been forgotten... I've marked it as bug as this is a regression to KDE SC 4.3 and will try to fix it myself.

It would be awesome to have that feature back in kde 4.4 :)

Is there a way to report those regressions so they are more important? Because I found another in kaddressbook:
