"Keyboard repeat" feature set to "on" affects "shift" button in Konsole, though it should not.
For example:
- open konsole
- start Midnight Commander
- open text file
shift + mouse button  selects the text
but if shift is pressed for more than "keyboard repeat delay", cursor starts blinking and selection is not possible anymore

As far as I remember in KDE 4.3.2 behavior was different

Can't reproduce it with KDE-4.7.0

Feel free to reopen  if this still happens in recent version.
