* My settings: 
My main kmail window looks like: left-local & mail accounts folders, middle: message list for active folder, right-message preview pane. 

* Reproducible: always

* Steps to reproduce: 
Settings> Configure Kmail > Appearance > Layouts: enable 'preview message pane next to ...'

* Problem: 
I have a list of messages, even click on one to be sure to get focus on the correct frame, the do ctrl+alt+a (*) and nothing happens, ctrl+a select's all text of the message secected. 
When no 'preview pane' set up, the short cut for select all works.

* Expected behavior: 
ctrl+(alt)+a should select all messages. 

ad (*):
1/ when i click on edit>select all messages, that works.
2/ i believe ctrl+alt+a is weird, would expect ctrl+a as for select all

great! coming from kde 4.4.1, it all behaves nicely now. ctrl+a sellects all messages. Thanks for a great work :)
