Description sheeettin 2010-01-06 23:05:12 UTC
Version: 1.5.3 (using KDE 4.3.4)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Filed as a wish as I suspect it's the server, and not Akregator, but still...

From time to time, Akregator will report several new articles for a feed. However, they aren't actually NEW articles, but in fact whatever articles are currently in the feed, which causes Akregator to display those articles twice (once from the archive, and one for the "new" ones), despite them being identical, as far as I can tell.
Like I said, I suspect it's something changed on the server, so it appears different to Akregator, but surely Akregator could recognize entries with identical timestamps and content and delete one. Right?

This is more like a bug. Sometimes I get 3 ore more duplicate titles where content, date and title are the same.

Akregator version 1.6.0 and KDE 4.4.0
