I see. The solution would probably be to disable the Information Panel for 'slow' file systems. However, something similar has been done for previews on 'slow' files ystems some time ago, which caused a lot of trouble because it's not easy to determine if a file system is slow or not. Resetting assignee to default as per bug #305719 On Linux, I'm no longer to reproduce the behavior of /tmp filling up while the Information panel is shown using Dolphin 16.12.3 or 17.08.0. Let me know if you can still reproduce the issue on FreeBSD using one of these more recent versions of Dolphin, and I'll re-open the issue. |
