How about a logfile for trash ?
There you can log where a removed file came from
in order to restore it to its proper destination automatically.

It could be like when you're in /path/to/trash in konqueror
(or some other prog) you have an entry in the context menu 
for each file to restore it looking up in the trash-logfile.

This would make things a bit easier.
