Description Sebastian Dörner 2010-01-05 16:26:03 UTC
Version: 2.3.3 (using KDE 4.3.3)
Compiler: i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.31-gentoo-r6
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

When loading an svg-file, which contains text field with line breaks, these line breaks are not displayed.

How to reproduce:
Open appropriate .svg file, e.g. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/1e/Public_key_signing.svg.
In firefox the file is displayed as it should be, in gwenview the line breaks are missing.

Expected behaviour:
Show the text with the line breaks.

Observed behaviour:
The text is simply shown without line breaks, i.e. the text continues in the same line intersecting other objects of the vector graphic.

Comment 3 Aurelien Gateau 2010-02-10 23:48:28 UTC
Gwenview relies on Qt to display SVG and other formats. Qt SVG handler needs to be fixed. Please report this bug on http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/
