as I encountered exactly the same bug on Archlinux and assume this to be an upstream issue and the description perfectly describes the issue:

A folder is mounted on:

/dev/sda7 on /mnt/WindowsD type fuseblk (rw,noexec,nosuid,nodev,allow_other,default_permissions,blksize=4096)

I´d like to copy the contents of a DVD to this folder, by selecting all files from the auto-mounted DVD to /mnt/WindowsD/INSTALL/X-Plane_9/Disk6/.

Now I get following information, although the copy process itself WORKS.

"Could not change permissions for
/mnt/WindowsD/INSTALL/X-Plane_9/Disk6/X-Plane 9/All/Global Scenery/-global terrain-/Earth nav data/-10-060/-03-059.dsf.7z"

Well, no wonder, since it is a NTFS.



1) It would be nice that Dolphin does not complain on every file (only possibility right now ist to klick OK for 1Mio. times, since there ale a lot of files on the DVD or kill the Dolphin process.)
2) an ignore button has to be provided for further, similar informations, otherwise Dolphin is useless.
3) and/or checks for vfat/NTFS etc. and suppresses the info/error.

Additional note from myself on reproducing the bug:

This only seems to happen when copying a folder to the NTFS volume with files in it. When just copying one single file it doesn'T happen. I can reproduce it in 100% of all tries when copying a folder with files in it to the NTFS volume.

A subsequent CRASH issue that happened to me:
- I started two copying operations in dolphin of single files (unaffected by issue above)
- I prompted an affected copying operation (to trigger bug above) of a folder with files in it
- I left Dolphin open with the error message without clicking "OK" and clicking through all the following errors for every single copied file
- I waited until the *affected* copying operation was done. At that point, two OTHER copying operations I started through the same dolphin instance were still running
- When I attempted to close dolphin now, it crashed (Crash handler appeared) and the two copying processes that were still running stopped (they were still shown as being running with the Pause button enabled, but the progress bar was frozen) and I had to start them again.
