Sentry Crash Report:

Description Chris Duffy 2009-12-30 07:16:35 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.4)
OS: OS X
Installed from: Mac OS X (Fink) Packages

Installed several kde apps via MacPorts. KDE 4.3.4, OS X 10.6

When dragging and dropping a file to move or copy it, the application crashes. The crash may or may not be caught by the crash reporter (Seems like Copy requests are caught more often). The crash happens *every time*

The issue is fairly low-level, as it's reproducible in at least dolphin, digiKam, and Konqueror. I filed the bug under dolphin because that seems the most logical and easiest to reproduce in.

Because kde's crash handler seemed to be flakey for this bug, I used OS X's built in one- output below.

Comment 2 Chris Duffy 2009-12-30 07:43:21 UTC
Looks like a QT problem, and could be due to MacPorts installing the wrong qt4 version (they have a few, qt4-mac, qt4-kde, and qt4-x11). I'm looking into it over there.

OK, thanks!

Dolphin via MacPorts is/was not officially supported, and this issue is probably fixed with Qt 5 (even though I've not seen someone running Dolphin on macOS in the recent past). Closing for inactivity.
