Version: 0.80.2 (using 4.3.4 (KDE 4.3.4) "release 2", KDE:KDE4:STABLE:Desktop / openSUSE_11.2)

Once again, I got a request while invisible, selected "add" and nothing. After doing this the contact shows up as being "blocked". I can't see them online and they can't see me online. Leaving invisible mode doesn't help.

Still not sure how to fix this, but a combination of getting out of invisible mode, clicking on the "block profile" option to try and disable it, sending a request to add that user, and restarting kopete seems to do the trick. Which combination of steps actually solves it I have no idea.

I only started suspecting some bug after this happened a few times. The first times were with people I had just met and for whom I had no other contact. Months after adding them (or so I thought) I still hadn't seen them online and wondered why. And I'm sure they thought I had just ignored their requests. I wouldn't be surprise if other people had lost contacts this way.

Is this in WLM protocol?

Ignore my last question

Guys I think this even got worse now. As usually I was invisible, when I got a request from someone I had met the night before. I selected "add". Her contact is nowhere to be found.

It's not that hard to try to confirm this bug.

eh nevermind, it's working now after all... it was just showing the address instead of name
