I am using KDE 4.3.4 (4.3.4-2.1) from the Opensuse repositories (KDE stable branch) on an Opensuse 11.2 system (x86_64  architecture / quad core processor).  

My mouse is a Logitech MX 1000 Laser Mouse (USB receiver). 

Independent of which "Tab" I use and independent of which mouse setting I change a crash happens as soon as I try to return to the main window of the system settings dialog. 

The crash happens always when returning to the main window by clicking on the corresponding back arrow in the upper part of system settings.

The crash happens even when no changes of the mouse settings are done at all. It is enough to enter the area of mouse settings and then to return to the main window of the "system settings" dialog. The resulting crash can always be reproduced.   

However, any changes of mouse settings can be activated on the respective page of "system settings" and are even saved in the configuration files. The crash is only related to the return of the introductory page of system settings. 

This crash was certainly not presented in KDE 4.3.1 on an Opensuse 11.1 system and on the present Opensuse 11.2 system. I did not check whether it appeared on the Opensuse 11.2 system after installing the proprietory nvidia drivers for my graphics card but I think it is independent of the nvidia driver.
