Doing this from System Settings is probably not ideal. KDE Partition Manager lets you set labels on volumes, and soon Dolphin will too. Those are much more common places for people to interact with removable disks, so I think those are sufficient. And with no duplicate reports, patches, or developer interest in 14 years, I think it's safe to say this won't end up happening, sorry. :) |
