Description Grósz Dániel 2009-12-27 06:35:00 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: openSUSE RPMs

If an application opens a modal dialog and the main window is shaded, the whole application is minimized. It can be used again only if you click on it on the taskbar and unshadde it.

One case where this is especially a problem: on small displays it is convenient to have shaded windows and use the feature that you can use the window if you hover its caption. Then if the window opens a modal dialog, and you move the mouse in the dialog, the main window gets shaded, and the whole application is minimized.
