Description Johannes Linkels 2009-12-27 03:38:00 UTC
Version: 4.3.2 (using KDE 4.3.2)
Compiler: Package compiled by Debian maintainers
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

When I enable progress bars to see what progress KMail makes while checking my IMAP accounts, the progress bars increase normally.
However when I open a message with an attachment, the progress bar should reflect the progress of the attachment download. It does not, it stays at 0% and when the download is finished, it jumps to 100% and continues to open the attachment.
I believe this was still right in 4.3.1 but wrong in 4.3.2.
The progress bar is the dialog(s) which open when clicking the up arrow in the lower right corner of the KMail status bar. I hope I call the thing with the right name.

Do you still have this? Cannot reproduce in KDE 4.4 with dIMAP

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
