Hmm, and in gdb, crashes inside: #0 0x01ae69bc in xine_get_status () from /usr/lib/libxine.so.1 #1 0x021d57d4 in Phonon::Xine::XineStream::event (this=0x9391700, ev=0x940d050) I am not able to replicate this issue with same os, same software version and same architecture. But I could. It's a phonon-xine issue. This matches bug 202982 (XIOError + xine_get_status crash) @Maksim: are you using Phonon from Qt or from kdesupport (build from trunk?)
