What I was doing when the application crashed:
Was using amarok as normal, I don't have the audio working yet for some reason. I have set the cover to an album, then tried to transfer it to the Creative ZEN device. It complained that it already exists (which I don't think it did) then I tried to open the device itself to view tracks and it crashed.

Will do after holidays. 

But in mean time I installed 2.2.1.90 (I think) from opensuse repository and when I try to transfer the album to the device it claims to have it already, but it doesn't I have checked. So that perhaps be another bug.Do you want me to fill out another bug report for this?
