In the summary view, upcoming events section, the two options "show birthdays" and "show anniversaries" do not seem to have any effect. The birthdays are always shown if the birthdays resource in korganizer is activated, and not shown otherwise.

I have the same problem in kontact 4.4.1. Birthdays are shown in the calendar, but not in the summary. Re-import of birthdays-resource does not work.
