Description Xuân Baldauf 2009-12-20 22:58:10 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: openSUSE RPMs

This is a regression from Amarok 1.4

In Amarok1.4, it was possible to just hit some keys and then the search of songs which matched the string as it was typed immediately started. In the current Amarok2.2.1.90, it is necessary to press Ctrl+J to first get the focus into the "Search playlist" text field before allowing the user to type in what the user searches. This additional requirement (from the user perspective) complicates the user interface and worsens the user experience unnecessarily.
