It might seem a good idea, but different people have different usages of a given file type and for the Joe User, opening an image in okular is not what people usually expect. It would be perfect if we could open multipage tif in okular and non multipage ones in an image viewer but the mimetype system is not that powerful so i'm closing the bug for now. Of course you can always change the default association yourself, even do a blog explaining how to do it so that people facing the same problem find how to do it more easily. |
